Criteria

  • Existing single-family home, detached and over $400,000, used as primary residence.

  • Home price must offer the potential for an annual appreciation of 5%.

  • Home must be financed with a single mortgage having a fixed rate for at least seven years.

  • Cash requested is to be repaid in addition to a percent of the home price appreciation.

  • Approval is required for second mortgages except when needed for payoffs.

Costs

  • Origination fee of 5% that is deducted from the cash requested.
